Product Origin, Inspiration, and Artistic Meaning

This jewelry box was inspired by the St. Pauls Center  of Rensselaer, NY.  This shelter provides temporary housing to women and children who were left without a place to call home.

The Home Maker jewelry box is an artistic collaboration between Salvage & Shine and Tom Nardi Designs.  The Home Maker jewelry boxes were co-designed by Tom Nardi and Alessandra Payne and were constructed by Tom Nardi of Tom Nardi Designs.

This piece was created to remind its wearer that she is home where ever she goes and to guard her heart like she would guard her home.
